Oh gosh, it's 11:30pm and I just finished my lesson planning and I desperately need to go to sleep, so hopefully I can just whip this out in no time. But, seeing as it's me, that's probably not going to happen. It's not my fault that it took so long to do the lessons though, I started at like 6:30pm, but Nancy and I have been talking on and off and not focusing too hard on the planning. It's so hard to just come up with lessons off the top of your head without knowing what they've learned before. Plus, I'm super paranoid because apparently the Chinese teachers take notes on my lessons so they can tattle on me to Yuling later (that's not really how it goes, they're really nice, but they are definitely taking notes).
Okay, quick, what was funny or exciting about today? Well, I am surprised that I'm not sore at all from the hike. And, all the guys were surprised that I'm not sore at all. I saw a couple of them hobbling around church today. And, after church was over, Yuling comes up to Nancy and I, hits our thighs and asks if we're sore. We tell her we're not and she told us how the men came up to her and told her that next time no Relief Society Sisters are allowed. She got scared and asked if we held them back or got hurt or if they had any problems with us. They told her that we just embarrassed them because we did so well. Then they told her that her American teachers are strong, strong like cows. I prefer the Book of Mormon reference they made yesterday over being compared to a cow. But, being stronger then a cow is better then a different way they could have compared me to a cow.
And then, after church Luke, Kaylene, Nancy, and I ate dinner together to celebrate Luke's birthday which was last Friday. It was pretty good. Kaylene tried to make chicken Alfredo, but it didn't taste like it at all. It was still way good, it just couldn't be called chicken Alfredo. After dinner we chatted it up and played a game of spades. Then, it was most definitely 6:30pm when Nancy and I separated and went to our rooms to work on lesson plans, and it's most definitely 11:34pm and I'm scrambling to finish this up after completing my lesson plans. But, since that's all that happened today, I can end. Yes. Peace out suckers, I'm going to bed.

I've enjoyed reading your blogs. Even though you talk about teaching, and the students, I sometimes forget YOU ARE A TEACHER!
