Church went well today, but June didn't come. I wonder where she was? I could always call or e-mail and ask her, but I'm sure I'll be seeing her again, so it's no big deal. The missionaries had a rough time translating today. Sister Woods couldn't focus on the lesson, so it's hard to translate when you don't know what's just been said. Then in Sacrament meeting Elder Pendelton was fidgety and was just having a rough time making it through the meeting. Because June wasn't there, we went back right after church, because we didn't have anyone to socialize with.
I took a little nap and did some scripture study after church. Around 3 o'clock Luke and Kaylene came over to start getting dinner ready. We were having baked vegetables with b-b-q chicken. We only have toaster ovens, so baking it took a while. Actually, we have a medium sized oven and a tiny tiny oven but the medium sized one's cord broke at some point in time and so we abandoned the baking idea and had to cook them up on the stove top. And the b-b-q sauce was nothing like it was supposed to be. I only put on a small layer of the stuff and it tasted okay, but it definitely wasn't b-b-q sauce. It turned out really good. I was in charge of getting all the supplies for dinner and last time I was in charge, I didn't pick up enough food and so this time I made sure to remind myself that there would be 6 of us eating and so I needed lots of food. Well, I over did it and we had lots of left overs. That's okay, especially since I no longer eat lunch with the preschoolers.
After dinner Luke, Kaylene, Beth, and I played card games while Natalie and Amy worked on making friendship bracelets. It was pretty fun, but I'm sad that we weren't all together. And now, Luke, Kaylene, and Amy are gone and I'm trying to decide what to do to fill up my time. More scripture study I think.
