Spaghetti Sunday

Today I woke up and got ready for church. At church I met the new sister missionary. Her name is Sister Woods and she's from Arizona, that means that we no longer have to sit in silence in Relief Society, we actually get to know what's going on. Yay!

Sister Woods kept on translating for Sunday School, but the new elder, Elder Pendelton, translated for us in Sacrament meeting. Natalie was very excited to meet Elder Pendelton because he's from Utah as well. He turned to me and asked if I was from Utah too. I told him no, but in a slightly scoffing way. So, probably I didn't get off to a good start with that elder, but after Sacrament I went up and apologized and told him I didn't mean anything bad about it, I just have California pride, that's all. He told me there were no hard feelings, so we're good. :o)

After church I came home and did some studying and some napping. After my nap it was time to help with dinner. We decided to make dinner all together. We had spaghetti, garlic bread, watermelon, and cookies for dessert. It turned out well. Luke, Kaylene, and Natalie really appreciated a genuine American meal (granted, spaghetti is Italian, but they were excited to have 'normal' food). I just enjoyed the cooking and eating together. When dinner was through we played spades for a while but then had to separate so that Natalie and I could work on our lesson plans. Luckily we didn't have to do evaluations this week or else I'd still be working on school stuff. But, seeing as we don't have evaluations, I'm done for the day.

I promise that I'm still working on getting the Thailand pictures, but I have to click on every picture to make it big, then I have to left click to save it and then to change to the next picture takes at least 5 seconds (I've been counting). And that's not too bad, except that I can't do more the 50 pictures at one time because the website keeps on failing. So I have 560 pictures to go through (I'm not keeping them all) but I can only look at them 50 at a time and it takes at least 30 minutes to save the ones I want. So, please just be patient, I promise that I'm doing my best with the time I have.
